Married Boys Party and Day out New Delhi

Married Boys Party and Day out New Delhi

Come weekend in my city, Feeling loud and naughty
Calling old boys from school those have now fat belly
Feeling relax with alcohol and talks those are really not funny
Nice gays gets washed away

Streets, loud music looks better than candle light dinner
Middle age cries every one feels like loser or asking for favor
Party in car, oh, New Delhi pubs and hotels are getting costlier
True friends to listen things those I care, everywhere
No classic or dirty movies and books to watch and share
O’Hare we are getting older?
New Delhi is getting fast, musical, western and thoughtfully clear.

Poetry on  New Delhi married straight boy’s day out in New Delhi…24/2/12

Keep away jealous and super clever person in your group.

Please don’t drink and drive
Have a good and healthy talk, as we meet once these days in months.
Man is known by the company he keeps.

I hope I am not getting personal here. I am here to tell my readers about married boys day out plans in the city I love New Delhi.

In context, with Indian, lifestyle and culture, where we live in family. Marriages are meant for one wife one husband whole life system. Sometime we go out to have time without family and kids.
In Europe and USA, we can go out at nightclub where you can have hookers and dance shows to enjoy, but here in India, it is illegal, immoral and not accepted.
So, please don’t think about that.

Driving out in street, where we walked for school with water bottlers, sitting on pavements of market place where we spend whole teenage, or just chilling out in a bar, which earlier we cannot able to in our school or collage days.
Just sitting at friends place, where kids and wife are away, having drinks, kababs, loose talks and some times dirty or classic movies to watch.

You when we had stress of work, family responsibilities, traffic woes, money matter and bills honks whole week, we seek solace of mind and soul. I know alcohol, food and music makes best things to make matter cooler.

At middle age, where we can express less to family and more to friends, means realty true friends those care.

I don’t know after writing this what my wife will say because for last two weekends, I am out with friends, but last week had long party started from one drive in restaurants to a stag disco in south Delhi and dinner at 2 AM in central Delhi, This weekend which started I had short party at my place, with short drinks and one course non Vega dinner served with fresh ROTIS.

It is always better to hangout with like minded friends once a week, All over globe this is the best time married men gets. Oh my God shall be paying two weekends eating out to wife if she reads this, anyways anything for friends’ day out.

PLACES FOR BOYS DAY OUT IN NEW DELHI---

Money matters, depends how much you have spend and how. So plan accordingly, as weekends have full house in all Central and South Delhi’s pubs.
High end bars and hotels-1500 INR OR30USD per person with 2-3 drinks and 3-4 course meal.
Pubs and bars-Budget is normally INR 800 or 14USD per person with 2 drinks and one course meal.
PLAN A--Plan drinks at happy hours and have dinner at some kind of normally restaurants. This way you can have to spend 300 on drinks and 200 on food per person.

IF YOU HAVE DRIVER WITH YOU----
Have drinks at car and meal at any joint here you can have per person 200INR TO 500 INR, depends on your eating place and drinks brand.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR HEAVY DRINKERS
DONOT DRINKS AND DRIVE—IT IS BAD, SIN

Normally, south and central Delhi have the best eating out and pubs in the city, where we can have cosmopolitan and foreigner visitors celebrating evening with all type of cuisines and drinks.
So here I am not making point to recommend any place.

1-PUBS 2-MOVIES OR THEATER DAY OUT 3-THEME RESTAURANTS

BOYS OR STAG PARTY CULTURE OF EUROPEANS FROM 1800

In the England, way back to 1800, after industrial revolution, it is now common for the party to last for more than one long evening in weekend or otherwise, increasing prevalence of the phrase "stag weekend".

From times of having literacy and Victorian lifestyle, men needs to go out with friends to have time where he can talk life and day’s experience without responsibilities of family.
Going by moral values and lifestyle, men normally goes out with friends in decent pubs, eats out, games show and theater to enjoy and relax from work and family
responsibilities.

In India, during 1700 till late 1900,life of men getting relax moves around marriages, religious functions, theater and some time friends get other at home.

Eating out, drinking, pubs long drive, weekend homes came in late 1980 and in 2000,it became part of life style ,because of good money flow among youth and excess knowledge given by television and internet.

Here we are in India, especially New Delhi, we have culture, music. Drinking, games and you name it friends groups going out weekly or monthly and having good time.

From wiki
Bachelor parties in the US often entail the mass consumption of alcohol, the hiring of a stripper and general rowdiness toward which the bride might not have a positive reaction (especially since the bride is typically not among the invitees).
Increasingly, bachelor parties have come to symbolize the last time when the groom is free of the influence of his new wife.
A bachelor party (Canada, South Africa and the US), also known as a stag party, stag night or stag do (especially in Commonwealth countries and Ireland), a bull's party (South Africa), or a buck's party or buck's night (Australia), is a party held for a man shortly before he enters marriage, to celebrate his "last night of freedom" or merely to spend time with his male friends, who are often at his wedding party afterwards.

COMMUNALLY THOUGHTS AND EVENTS PEOPLE DO
  • Drinking - What party wouldn't have a lot of drinking? Since bachelor/ette parties are all about letting it hang out, drink harder.
  • Pubs & Restaurants-Sitting in pub and watching and drinking with mood where you think nothing.

  • Empty Friends house –Sitting at friends house where kids and wife are away, having dance drinks and dirty talks whole night long.

  • Cook’s friends dinner-Going at friends who cooks well for friends and eating out good food friends had made.

  • Gambling - For some reason gambling is sometimes present at bachelor parties. It is appropriate for a cut of the house winnings to go to the "stag" (the fund that is given to the groom at the end of the party).

  • Drinking Games - You are going to need to drink fast and what better way to do it than drinking games (well, you could just drink shots).

  • Eating greasy food - Pizza is good, buffalo wings, a gigantic sub, burgers, fried chicken, all of these are appropriate for a bachelor party.

  • Playing With Party Favors - Part of the fun will surely be had with party favors.

  • Dirty Jokes - OK, its time to tell the really raunchy ones. You know the ones that are not acceptable in the office.
  • . Watching movies with friends

  • More Drinking - If someone isn't out of control, you need to drink some more. Have you seen our guide to bachelor and bachelorette drinks?

We are gentleman and living in India, so talk about moral duties more than other talk which I suppose I am not able to write.
Anyways, happy reading and keep away from loose talks while going out with friends. Keep away jealous and super clever person in your group.

Please don’t drink and drive

Have a good and healthy talk, as we meet once these days in months.

I hope to write more on this topic in my book.
Man is known by the company he keeps.

Con-naught Place-Heart of New Delhi

Con-naught Place-Heart of New Delhi

Heart of the city, Con naught Place
Hope, despair, happy white and black face
Circular pathway like life we all trace
Offering history, worship, food, work at one place

Flowers and fragrance of cooking oil
Steel and glass building beside monument made of soil
Porsche parked with bicycle within same mile
Tourist, beggar, British & Colombian making same smile

Hey, I can plant a tree of fruit on this clay
Devotes and executive walking side in same ally
Heart of the city, Connaught Place
Hope, despair, happy white and black face

 Poetry By Shailesh Sharma...Feb-2012

With in 2 to 5 Kilometer radius we have temple, shopping, brands, nightclub, monument, colonial buildings, bank, school, church, hotel and metro station, with garden on top. It is like city within city.

New Delhi is round shaped, Connaught place is round shaped, earth is round shaped and our life graph is round shaped. So we call this location center point of the city.
There are certain places in every city, which makes you feel like in that particular city. It is like being there and feeling the city, people and weather all together. As a writer I get so much positive vibes, thoughts and emotions to write about this place called Connaught Place.

We can find some residents also in this old colonial market place.

The reason: Italia, 86, the oldest resident of CP today —she moved in 1939 — believes that the place has lost its old charm and glory. In 1940's CP was the best and posh address to live in New Delhi.very few people now live here. Its surrounding residential plots and building also vanished today and made into commercial building.

I had everything of my fist thing here, means first coffee, restaurant meal, first jeans pant. This was the only and the first shopping and restaurant arcade in the city In fact 10 years back New Delhi, doesn’t had multi storey shopping malls in he city. The best thing about this arcade is that it doesn’t look like a market place it looks like a city and small town having shops in the ground floor and offices and restaurants in first floor. This single story building artiste is so unique with long and wide walking bays makes it like walking in the green grassed garden.

Shopping arcade, office complex and eating out center of New Delhi. Connaught place is center of many events and landmark or we can say heart of New Delhi. Although it has been developed by colonial British Government, it is a place from where New Delhi gets its attitude, fashion, lifestyle, eating habits and business.

The best about this commercial location is we can find cloths and food for every person and every budget any person carry. We can find shirt for 2 dolors on the street and burger for 50 cent, where as five star hotel can offer cup of tea for 5 dollars at this same location.

As tourist one can spend whole day here, doing window shopping. Movies, sitting a park, getting all type of food from street to continental. Shopping can at the best as we can have almost every global and Indian brand having sales outlet here.
I will discus in details for the eating out or restaurants in Connaught place, as it is the oldest place where we can have meal for all over the world. Even we can find the newspaper from all over the world here at this shopping center.

Named after the British Duke of Connaught, the construction work was started in 1929 and completed in 1933.
It was a ridge, having long kikar tress and inhabited by jackals, foxes and pigs. Nearest habitat area were villages named Madhoganj, Jaisingh  Pura and Raja Ka Bazaar .
Jantar Manter, was the only building built in 1764 by King of Jaipur. There was ancient temple, which still a holy place called Hanuman Mandir.

Outer Circle (Block: G, H, K, L, M, N, P

All roads lead to Connaught Place, which is well connected by bus and metro.24 hours we can find taxi here at this place only. Food is served till midnight at all restaurants.
CENTRAL PARK—It is really in center of the Connaught place ,here we can have open air stage ,where we can find good cultural shows all round the year.

FROM WIKI-----

Plans to have a central business district were as the construction of the new capital of Imperial India started taking shape, mooted by W.H. Nicholls, the chief architect to the Government of India, who planned a central plaza based on the European Renaissance and Classical style. However Nicholls left India in 1917, and with Lutyens and Baker busy working on larger buildings of the capital, it was Robert Tor Russell, chief architect to the Public Works Department (PWD), Government of India who eventually designed the plaza.
Named after, The Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught (1850–1942), third son of Queen Victoria and uncle of King George VI, Connaught Place's Georgian architecture is modeled after the Royal Crescent in Bath, England, who visited India in 1921 and laid the foundation of the Council House (now Sansad Bhavan, or Parliament House). It was designed by the architect John Wood the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774. Though while Crescent is semi-circular and three storied largely residential structure, Connaught Place had only two floors, almost makes a complete circle and was planned to have commercial establishments on the ground with residential area on the first floor.

The circle was eventually planned with two concentric circles, creating Inner Circle, Middle Circle and the Outer Circle and seven radial roads, around a circular central park. As per the original plan, the different blocks of Connaught Place were to be joined from above, employing archways, with radial roads below them, but the circle was 'broken up' to give it a grander scale. Even the blocks were originally planned to 172 meters high, but later reduced to present two-storied structure with an open colonnade.

Government’s plans to have the New Delhi Railway Station to be built inside the Central Park was rejected by the Railways as it found the idea impractical, instead it chose the nearby Paharganj area. Finally the construction work began in 1929, as principal construction of the Viceroy House (present President's House), Central Secretariat, Parliament House, and All-India War Memorial, India Gate was winding down and was complete by 1933, much after the inauguration of the city in 1931.

It is my pleasure to write a book in whole on Connaught Place and surrounding. Really it is nostalgic to think and visit this place hope when reader of this article visits this location, must feel the same.

I can write 100 poetry, Songs books on this location. I have mentioned some spots of this place, which have 1000 of spots to enjoy and reconnect with life in positive manner.
So keep walking any time of the day in Connaught Place.

Delhi metro -Traveling as social human

Traveling as social human being—METRO RAILWAY NEW DELHI

Life has changed almost from day to night from darkness to sunshine

Poor and rich flying same type of kite

Hot city got to air conditioned ride without mosquito bite

Friends and work became into our stride.
Shopping, history, school and offices are in everyone’s sight

NEW DELHI METRO has came late but it is within our sight

You know traveling or commuting makes mankind social and apart from other animals in the universe, so we need something to move out from our shelters. We need social commuting ride, which can only make our life and human.

It is machine in nature so it is bound to make errors, with its popularity and rise in passengers some time we get struck and gutted jammed. But we should respect its ride which at least saves time and gives security.
New Delhi, metro has been the best thing happen to the city. All walks of life traveling together. Take ego apart, it is saving energy, money, time stress and making system to reach out more to earn living and make community stronger.

New Delhi, has now almost everything to be world class, metro is exception in its life.

Why New York, USA, is the biggest city in terms of work, culture, money, art and politics, because of it is metro, which started in 27th October 1904, While London boasts the world's oldest underground train network (opened in 1863) and Boston built the first subway in the USA in 1897, the New York City subway soon became the largest American system.

The London Underground is one of the world's oldest and busiest metro systems carrying just over three million passengers each day.

So New Delhi is late in keeping entry of Metro Train system. I still remember the days of commuting in New Delhi, those days traffic jams, pollution and lack of wider roads, made every day worse for every resident of the city.

In cities like New York, where 70% of population using public transport reach out places. And metro train is the most apart from buses and radio taxis. New Delhi, with its vast geography, which is circle in format and population of 15 million people, commuting is the problem. So we need man systems to keep the movement going.

Another problem is New Delhi is that city is hub of politics, fiance and education for all over country. Beside that, it is being center of almost 6 states all around. From where commercial Vehicle pass through their final destinations. So problem of heavy traffic is common. Secondly having car of themselves is the nature of city’s resident is unlikely not common for developed metro city. This is big problem, not having good public transport; people use their own Vehicle, which makes traffic conditions worse for the city.

So here what we got, Mass Rapid Transport System, named metro train,
In economical terms, public transport is the best transport to reach out places where we need to.

Wheel is the biggest innovation for human mankind. This circle has made life so easy for us that we cannot imagine without it. We have to come back from where we have started it is nature of circle.

Although we know our mother earth is round and mine city New Delhi is round. Life is name of movement. Time never stops, so all human being need to move.

As per study on Delhi estimates, that there are over 60 lakh vehicles. The total vehicles in Delhi NCR will cross to 160 lakh by 2010.

Delhi and NCR has approximately 8,527,000 km of roads which are congestive stage and broadens up can not solve the problem.

A modern city has the biggest problem of commuting. Those have chosen to live in big cities have to face commuting problem, in all sense, means time consuming, painful, stressful, expensive and above all polluting.

LIFE IN NEW DELHI WITH METRO REACHING ALL CORNERS OF THE CITY---

This is long feature of mine, should be read in my book .But here I say some thing in brief. This city has lot of things and places to see, watch, walk, study and work. But to reach out these places is like travelling from London to France or Germany to Switzerland, yes it takes 2-4 hours to reach out 40 to 60 Kilometers by road, roads with traffic jams and pot holes, roads which take time, money peace and energy away from the riders. Where as metro gives relax, peace, saving on money and time.

Students can reach out collages of their choice easily and convenience, workers can select their job sites easily. People like me can attend events in different parts of city easily. So here we are academically, culturally and socially connected without internet and that is physical.
My kids can explore city’s history and colonial buildings every weekend and can attend hobby classes at center of art hubs in the city.

Old people can travel alone and can reach doctors and hospitals of their choice with comfort, please give them seats as they needed most. Above all we have handicap friendly railway station at all metro lines.

Socially, I felt we are much more connected with metro reaching all 4 corners of the city, people attend marriages often; go to see old friends and family in weekends. I meet my friend after 27 years because of metro and attended family function after 8 years. So I feel dramatic and fantastic changes in social structure of the city.

With start of Airport express line, it is more reasonable to go to airport and central Delhi railway station; although this line is suitable for me the most because I live near by this line. But above all it is just like saving money of high airport parking and time.

BECAUSE OF METRO POOR CAN FEEL RICH===

Jobs have been created for middle and poor class in the city. Poor worker can travel air conditioned ride in the hot humid city of Delhi, where air-conditioned is the name of luxury and expensive.
Small vendors can sell peanuts outside station and can reach out to people.

What else we need from metro. I will discuss more on impact of metro in upgrading poor and middle class society status in the city name New Delhi.

REAL ESTATE PRICES JUMPS UP WITH METRO STATION===

You can have the highest growing of millionaire rate in New Delhi after China, those can afford Porsche and Mercedes at one go, but their reach out of home should be near metro as they need their family, friends and workers to travel to them by their own means and they might not having car, so metro helps. This process has made real estate prices go up for towns having reached near metro stations.

Believe me I have seen in 10 years that, real estate prices of residence and commercial places have gone more upward just because of metro reach. Residential towns in Delhi those were earlier called posh, but not having metro station are less priced than places having metro station near by.

I will discuss my economic and marketing skills on metro impact chart in my book..

HISTORY OF NEW DELHI METRO-----

New Delhi bureaucrats had metro concept in 1969, but it took long time to plan it. With increase in population and pressure of the city, urban planning ministry of India and Delhi Development Authority came up a metro proposal in 1984. The Government of India and the Government of Delhi jointly set up a company called the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on March 5, 1995 with E. Sreedharan as the managing director.

Dr. E. Sreedharan handed over charge as MD, DMRC to Shri Mangu Singh on 31st December 2011.
Construction work on the Delhi Metro started on October 1, 1998 which was badly delayed The DMRC then consulted the Hong Kong MTR on rapid transit operation and construction techniques The first line of the Delhi Metro was inaugurated by A.B. Vajpayee, the then Prime Minister of India on December 24/02 .The first phase of the project was completed in 2006.
As of August 27, 2011, the whole of Phase-I and Phase-II are complete, with the network comprising six lines with 142 metro stations and a total length of 189.7 km. Trains operate at a frequency of 3 to 4.5 minutes between 6:00 and 23:00. Trains operating within the network typically travel at speeds below 80 km/h (50 mph).

At present we have completed 180KM and by 2015-16 metro railway planning we will have 300 plus KM by 2010-12 projection we will have the highest metro railway network in world.

For metro routes and connection please visit metro website. Or check nay metro station and get free rote maps. Also get free brochure at every hotel you stay in New Delhi.

I am witting this feature became of positive impacts of metro railway on  my city New Delhi, hope I can write full book for travels from around the world and they can enjoy tourist and food map of the city which I feel I can rewire and offer with best of my info

Hope you look forward for my book….
Thanks
